About volunteering

We run a very special and unique volunteer programme for those who dream of working with lions in Africa. Volunteers need to spend a minimum of two weeks at Seaview Lion Park on their first visit, as we invest a great deal of time into teaching you about our animals and how to care for young lions or tigers.

Our programme is different from others in that from day one, you’re able to interact with our sanctuary animals and baby cats (when we have them).

From bottle feeding baby lions or Siberian tigers, to walking with them, to learning about their personalities, you’ll be able to experience what few can.

The wildlife volunteer programme has been in place at Seaview Lion Park for several years now.

We have had dozens and dozens of volunteers, from all over the world, including Britain, the United States, Israel, India, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, France, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium Argentina, Russia, Brazil, Japan and, of course, from South Africa. Many have returned again and again. Seaview has a way of getting into your blood!
